In March we went on a family vacation with the Tye's to Malibu. It was so much fun! My dad rented a 15 passenger van so we could all ride together, and we drove out to California. We left Wednesday night, stopped in St George for the night and stayed at Grandma Tye's condo, then got up early Thursday and drove the rest of the way. We spent the rest of the weekend just hanging out at the beach, driving around town, visiting Hollywood, ending up at some hot springs where everyone was naked and high, shopping in Santa Barbara, and just spending time together. It was a really fun trip. The thing that made the whole vacation was the Tye Family Fun Bus! We had so much fun while we were driving! Everyone was laughing and playing around, singing and dancing, and it was just a good time. Payson was great riding in the car. He is such a good traveller. And he had lots of aunts and uncles to feed him and keep him entertained. My brothers kept talking about finding some "shorties" on this vacation, and by the end they even had Grandma Tye looking for "shorties" too. It was hilarious. Lots of good times!

The view from our back door. We were right up on the water. It was so fun to watch! The first night we got there, we were all standing outside just watching the waves when we saw a group of dolphins swimming along. They were jumping up and playing around, it was so cool!

It was a little cold and rainy, that weekend, but it was still so much fun. A wonderful family vacation!
