On Saturday, Ben graduated from University of Phoenix with his bachelors degree in Business Marketing. I cannot fully express how proud I am of him. He has worked so hard and for quite awhile to accomplish this. He never gave up even though times were hard. During the years Ben has been going to school full time, he has also been working full time, he was the Elders Quorum President and he has been a wonderful husband and father. Not only that, but his first child was born, spent the first three months of her life in the hospital having major surgeries, spent the rest of her life in and out of the hospital (mostly in), continuing to have major surgeries, all while he was going to school. He would go to work, go to school, go to the hospital and sometime between all that, he managed to get some studying and homework in. He had to deal with this major personal crisis that took it's toll emotionally, mentally and physically, and was still go to school. I am sure it was hard for him to focus on school when he didn't even know if his daughter would make it through the night. But he did it. And I am just so proud of him. He is an amazing man who makes his family so happy. He is so smart, and I know he has a lot in store for him in the future. I just can't say enough how happy I am that he stuck with it. There were times we talked about stopping, or taking a break, but he knew he wanted it and kept going. He is just amazing. And I love him.
It was so fun to go to the graduation and see him walk. Thanks to our amazing and wonderful family who came to support. We love you!

All the fantastic people who came to show their love and support...

This kid was pretty good the whole time. He got a little fussy at the end, so Grandpa took him out and let him play outside. He liked that a lot better.

Getting his diploma...

Payson wants to be just like daddy!

After the graduation I had planned a surprise BBQ for him and it turned out great. He was so surprised! We had a great turn out- thank you so much to everyone that came! You made it so fun for him! I didn't take any pictures and I am so mad! I guess I was too busying partying and socializing! :) But you can imagine it was a fun party!
And my parents, his parents, my grandparents, his brother Andy, and myself all went in and got him a hand gun for graduation. He was so surprised and so excited! It was awesome, and everything I wanted it to be!

Great job babe! We are so proud of you!
