Little Lehi House

For almost a year, we lived in a tiny little house that was Ben's Great Grandparents home. It is a stand alone house, but basically has two rooms, connected by a hall that is the kitchen. When I say it's tiny, it doesn't quite do it justice. :) We were fortunate to have the opportunity to live there and save up some money for school. It was quite the adjustment! But it was actually kind of fun. We had stuff everywhere which drove me crazy, because we just didn't have a place to put anything. We rented a storage unit where most of our stuff stayed, and we just lived off the bare essentials (ok, maybe not the bare, but there were things we did without!) It was cramped and we ran into each other all time, but I know we will always look back on this experience and think of all the good times we had. I wanted to remember what it was like so I took a bunch of pictures one day after I had cleaned it (a major plus to living in a tiny house- it doesn't take long to clean it!)

The front room was the most spacious spot in the house, and is where we spent nearly all our time. It was our family room/office/dining room/Payson's bedroom. It was very functional. :) 

Our kitchen/hallway. We didn't do much cooking while we lived there simply because it was not pleasant to be in the kitchen. It almost never looked like this- it usually had groceries and everything piled on the tiny counter space. 

 Our cute bedroom. It was a decent size and was conveniently located near the fridge just in case we needed a midnight snack. 

The bathroom was the hardest part for me. We couldn't both be in there at the same time which was inconvenient nearly everyday. 

The best part about living in this house was living next to Nannie and Pop-pop and Grandma and Grandpa Lamb. That was a lot of fun for all of us, and we are so glad we got that time to grow closer together. We will miss that little Lehi house...somewhat. :)
