Ben's Blog

My husband is the greatest. I just love him. One of the things I love about him is his devotion and love for this great country we live in. He is very passionate about doing his part to help keep the values and standards that we believe in alive in this nation. He has a blog where he likes to write about things that are going on, not just in his life, but in the country and in the world. Please check it out! He recently posted about The 9/12 Project, which is a way for us, average Americans, to stand together and fight for our freedoms and the things we enjoy. To fight against those who are trying to change this country. So much is going on today, with the economy and everything else, and whether you have been directly effected, or just know people who have, it's time to do something about it. Please visit his blog at

benlambfriendofamerica.blogspot.com

Ben can write and explain everything better than I can. So check out his blog, and spread the word!

Also, there is a website about the 9/12 project- www.the912project.com

Just A Fun Tag

5 things I was doing 5 years ago:

1. I was enjoying my senior year in high school.
2. I was on Seminary Council which was so fun.
3. I was hanging out with my friends.
4. I was trying to think about college, but I was having too much fun. I didn't want to admit that it would all be over soon. (I really had a great time in high school!)
5. I was just enjoying being young and not having many responsibilities. I think my biggest concern was what I was going to do for the weekend!

5 things on my "to do" list today:

1. Clean my house (it has severely suffered since I have been feeling so crappy)
2. Go to the store
3. Roast hot dogs and mallows with the Kollers
4. Return borrowed items to my moms.
5. Organize my closet

5 things I would do with $1 Million dollars:

1. Buy a house
2. Pay off all our loans
3. Donate to Primary's, or Huntsman Cancer Institute, or research funding for congenital heart defects, or all of the above
4. Invest
5. Buy some fun things for our family to use like a motor home, a boat, four wheelers, and all that good stuff.

5 Places I have lived:

1. Taylorsville, UT
2. Ephraim, UT
3. Logan, UT
4. That's all- I'm boring.
5.

5 things I want to be doing in 5 years:

1. Living in my own house
2. Raising my two kids (I think we'll have two by then) and telling them about their older sister.
3. Have my own garden
4. Have a piano so I can play again
5. Enjoying life

5 people I tag:

Anyone who wants to!

Pay It Forward

I saw this on my friends blog, and thought it was a fun idea.

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice-for you! And after I give something to you, you can give something to someone else. And we can pay it forward! So here's the dealio-

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make, but I will try my best!

2. What I create will be just for you.

3. It WILL be done this year.

4. It will be a surprise- it may be cards, a bookmark, something delicious or maybe something else … who knows?

5. Most importantly, you must offer the same deal on your blog - the first 5 people to comment on your blog get something made by YOU!

So hurry and make a comment, because you don't want to miss out on something fantastic from me! :) Plus its fun to do nice things for other people!

Happy day to all!

Finding a Job

I thought this was so funny and clever. Probably because I have been job searching for months. If only I had seen this sooner.... oh well, the good news is I finally found a job. I am so happy about it and so excited to start.
