Last Monday we had a very nice evening in honor of Kynslee. Hospice put on an Evening of Remembrance for those who had passed away in 2008. It was sad and we cried, but it's always nice to remember her and honor her. They had a little program with musical numbers and a speaker. They also did a slide show and we were able to see some picture of Kynslee. They had a Christmas tree that everyone put a candle on for their loved ones. They were paper images of a candle and we wrote Kynslee's name on it. I was also able to read a poem my mom wrote about Kynslee and her life, which was read at her funeral. I had a hard time with it, and yet it was very special to be able to share it. We had a lot of support from our family, which means so much to us. We are so lucky to have such amazing families! And we are very blessed to know that Families Are Forever.

Our families are awesome! It's blurry, I know. But the good news is in about 12 days there will be no more need to take pictures with Ben's phone! ;)

We miss you Kynslee!

Teea, what a great way to be able to honor her. I'm sure she was listening to the poem you read and was trying to help you fight back the tears as you read it.
